It’s officially time for Fall festivities in St. Augustine, and we couldn’t be more excited! With the weather cooling down and the leaves slowly changing colors, there’s no better time to get outside and enjoy all that this charming city has to offer. If you’re planning a visit to St. Augustine this season, here’s a list of the most popular Fall activities to take part in.

Go Kayaking

Although most of St. Augustine’s charm is found in its historic downtown, the Oldest City is not lacking when it comes to beautiful scenery and calm waters. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced kayaker, a Kayaking Tour is the perfect way to enjoy beautiful landscapes while soaking in that crisp Florida Fall air. You can paddle through the historic downtown area on their “Downtown Bayfront History Tour”, explore the marshes and creeks with the “Backwater Eco Tour”, or make some marine friends during the “Deluxe Dolphin Tour” on Salt Run. Whatever your preference, Kayaking St. Augustine is a must-try activity for anyone visiting the area.

Farmers Market Saturday

Nothing says Fall like strolling through a Saturday morning market with a coffee in hand and dozens of booths to browse. The St. Augustine Amphitheater Farmers Market is a vibrant and bustling hub for locals and visitors alike. Every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the market is filled with a wide variety of vendors selling fresh produce, baked goods, artisanal crafts, and much more. With live music and plenty of space to relax, it’s a great way to spend a morning and support local businesses at the same time. Plus, the scenic location right next to the amphitheater makes it an especially picturesque spot to shop and stroll.

Visit a pumpkin patch

It wouldn’t be Fall without a pumpkin patch, and we know just the place!  Starting October 3rd, the First United Methodist Church in Downtown St. Augustine offers such a wide variety of pumpkins, that you’re sure to find the perfect one for your front porch or future jack-o’lantern. Plus, the patch is a great spot for taking family photos and enjoying the cooler weather!

Every Saturday evening, Magician Bill Abbot hosts “Magic Hideaway”, a thrilling two-hour magic show that will leave you spellbound! Held at the timeless Casa Monica Resort in St. Augustine, this event is a must-see for anyone who loves mind-bending tricks and illusions. As the lights go dim, Bill takes the stage to perform one of the most intimate magic shows in the world, making this an experience you won’t want to miss!
